Fuller Metric Parts Ltd. is an import and wholesale distribution company located in Surrey, BC. We also have branches in Mississauga Ontario and Shanghai China. Our primary business is in Canada although we also sell to the US and other markets. We stock over 20,000 SKU’s in all locations with the primary focus on metric fasteners and related products.

Warehouse Clerk

Location:

Surrey, North East (Port Kells Industrial Park), British Columbia   (9652 188th Street, Surrey BC V4N 3M2)

 

Our warehouse is highly computerized and structured, following our ISO9001-2008 procedures. 

We are looking for an applicant that can work well within this type of environment.

Currently we do not use a scanning system, so if you are only used to scanner supported environments, this position may not be for you.

 

Our interview process contains a practical component to evaluate your skills relating to our particular warehouse system. 

We will train the successful applicant in all aspects that this position requires, if however, you are not a detail oriented person that can correctly identify and work with many different parts, this job is not for you.

Major Functions:
  • Long term Permanent Full-time.  Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
  • Stock picking, order shipping, inventory receiving, and many other warehouse tasks.
  • Adding, subtracting, multiplying, paperwork, computer entry throughout entire day.
  • Products are mostly steel fasteners, so heavy lifting is involved.
  • On feet and moving throughout warehouse, including stairs, during entire shift.
  • Fast paced, hands-on, physically demanding environment.
  • Long learning curve for product knowledge necessitates long term minded applicants.
Requirements:
  • Warehouse or related industrial experience of minimum 1-2 years required.
  • Proficient English communication skills.
  • Proficient basic math and comparison skills.
  • Work well as part of a team, and independently.
  • Consistently punctual, dependable, reliable character.
  • Swift, competent, self-motivated learner.
  • Good physical health without issue to heavy lifting, stairs, and being on feet all day.
  • Stamina to maintain fast pace through out shift even when physically demanding.
  • Basic computer and typing skills. You must be able to interact with our computer systems.
  • Full time, long term minded applicant.
  • Hands-on minded applicant.
  • Fork lift certified or must be prepared to become fork lift certified. (Proficient driving skills).
  • Full job references are required.
  • Must be bondable (no criminal record). We are involved in international export and certain security rules apply.
  • Require certified steel toe shoes.
Compensation:
  • Starting wage $12-14/hr +  depending experience.
  • Full benefits after probation
  • Must bring in your actual valid Social Insurance Card, before hire.
